EVOTEL MARKS A DECADE OF TRANSFORMING TELECOMS IN SOUTH AFRICA
11 JULY 2025 – Johannesburg
Evotel celebrates a decade of extraordinary years since its founding in March 2015, with a clear purpose: to bridge the digital divide, bring fibre-to-the-home (FTTH) to underserved communities, and champion a customer-first service model that redefines the telecommunications landscape.
On Friday, 11 July 2025, stakeholders—including shareholders, contractors, SMMEs, and staff—will gather at Evotel’s Kramerville, Sandton headquarters to commemorate a decade of progress and impact.
From Humble Beginnings to Industry Leader
“We planted a seed on dry soil, and today we stand as one of South Africa’s leading Fibre Network Operators,” reflects Chief of Staff Nicholas Thipe. What started with just seven employees in 2015 has grown into a team of 64 specialists and staff members. Evotel now operates a flagship store in Rustenburg and delivers fibre connectivity to hundreds of thousands of homes across seven provinces TechCentral+6MyBroadband+6Evotel+6Evotel.
